But what exactly are in store for Apple fans remain under wraps as Apple Insiderreported that Black Friday this year foriPhone and iPad buyers will be slightly different from the previous years.
Limited early openings
For one, not all Apple Stores in the United States will take part in the Black Friday shopping frenzy. While many stores will let in customers by 8AM in the last Friday of November 2014 there will be some that will open their doors like it is an ordinary day.
According to Apple Insider, most Apple Stores' start of operation for Black Friday this year will be two hours later compared to 2013. The earliest that Apple Stores started selling during the same occasion was in 20111 when most stores started attending to customers between 12 midnight and 4AM.
Apple fans cannot expect the same this 2014, no thanks to the sales performance posted in the same period last year.
"Apple is not pushing for early-bird customers this year, citing sales numbers from 2013," Apple Insider said on its report.
Uncertain promo deals
Like in previous Black Fridays, Apple is not revealing its offerings early though Apple Insider is saying that the deals will likely be a repeat of last year. For instance, the publication noted that iPhone and iPad buyers in the U.S. and Australia were given gift cards.
While there is a chance that discounts on hardware products would be dangled, these deals will likely involve old iPhone, iPad, iPod, MacBook and Mac models.
Options for killer Apple discounts
Still, Black Friday savings on Apple devices can be realised via the traditional channels, according to Business Insider. The tech site nominated the likes of Walmart, Best Buy, Target and Sam's Club as the more reliable sources of killer dealers, especially for those planning to grab the iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2 at lower price tags.
True enough, Sam's Club has already announced its juicy iPhone 6 deal for Black Friday, which will allow buyers to take home the handset for as low as $99 beginning on November 15.
Other players are expected to join in, including online retail giant Amazon, in packaging the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus as tempting holiday buys, starting this Black Friday and going forward to the 2014 Christmas season.
