The Apple iPhone 6 is on its way: All features you should expect

Apple

Apple is likely preparing to launch the iPhone 6 before the end of the year, and we expect the company to come out swinging in the face of increased challenges from Google, Microsoft and Amazon. The big question, however, is what should we expect from the iPhone 6?
The rumors so far are grand, and there are several alleged leaked images of parts relating to the iPhone 6. Still, it is very difficult to pinpoint what is real from what is false, but that doesn't mean we can attempt to make sense out of nonsense and come away with an idea of what Apple is planning to amaze us with, in the coming months.
More than one iPhone 6:
We've seen Apple dabble in this area when the company released the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C. The latter is a flop, but that might have a lot to do with the pricing more than anything else. We expect Apple to continue down this route to have one iPhone 6 for the hardcore, and another for the lower end of the market.
Larger screen size:
It took a long while for Apple to upgrade the display of the iPhone from its meager 3.5-inch display to 4-inches. But with Android devices even surpassing the 5-inch threshold, Apple may have no choice but to bump the screen size over 4-inches.
Several rumors in the past have suggested that the iPhone 6 will have 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch displays. If it turns out to be the truth, it would be a true surprise. The market right now is ripe for an iPhone with a larger display, because so far a third of all smartphone sold around the world have displays over 5-inches, and this number is growing.
Consumers want what Apple doesn't have, and we have a feeling the company is ready to deliver the goods.
The ability to connect with the iWatch:
Chances are Apple is working on a smartwatch. If it wasn't the case before, then it is certainly the case now, after what Google showed off of the Android Wear at its recently held I/O developer conference. The Apple iWatch is coming, and we expect the iPhone 6 to complement it like a bigger brother.
Apart from what we've listed above, Apple will no doubt improve the usual software and hardware features. Better camera, longer battery life, along with a faster processor and GPU. The device should definitely come with iOS 8 installed, or a newer version of the operating system.
